It's BACK!! The Annual Camping Trip for 2024 is on!
The REAL DADS Annual Camping Trip is one of the most popular events we offer. This trip has occurred for over 10 years and has grown each time, finally reaching maximum capacity. With a group campsite in Ontario, a bunch of dads spend a weekend in July with our children in tents and around a campfire. Even if you don't know what you are doing when it comes to camping, all the men are willing to help pitch tents (even in the dark, as we have done more than once, and in a tornado, which we have actually experienced once!), cook food and help out in whatever way we can to ensure you have a great weekend hanging out with your kids.

If you are new to camping, that's OK! Everyone is always willing to help out and make you feel comfortable. This trip started more than 10 years ago and we have endured a tornado, had a baptism, engaged in a massive water fight each year, lost a kid (my son...but we found him again!), laid hands on in prayer (cool story...ask about it!), knighted some men (another cool story to ask about) and had Sunday morning church service each year. There has been a lot more happen than just that, but it is always a great time not to be missed!
From two of our dads:
"I just wanted to send a quick email to say thank you very much. (My kids) and I had a great time. We really enjoyed ourselves. I learned a lot about both of them this weekend and a little bit about myself and my walk with God.... I will never forget this weekend. I look forward to another camping trip next year."
"These will be some great memories for us. My kids really liked camping, which sort of surprised me (pleasantly of course). This was a great environment to introduce them to camping because if they hadn’t taken to it so well, I felt I had the support of other fathers and my kids would have the comfort of the other kids. Instead of potentially being out alone on a small site getting frustrated and starting to think I had wasted my time. This was a safe and fun weekend; my kids loved it and so did I. The fathers were really easy going and friendly and the kids were actually very well behaved."
