Counselling Support for Divorced Dads

Divorce is a very difficult time for every involved - you, your wife, your kids. Often, the courts seem to favour the female in matters related to divorce, especially when it comes to custody of the children. The Counselling Support for Divorced Dads is a bit of a hybrid between a course and group discussion sessions. Most people find that talking about their frustrations with others who share their feelings helps tremendously. Guys, stereotypically, don't like to talk about their feelings, but this is one venue which allows men to do that with other men who are in a similar situation.

There will be a bit of a focus on your redefined role as a father, but for the most part, the discussion will go where the participants lead. Initially, this is intended to be a once a week for 5 weeks group, but that could certainly change depending on the participants willingness to talk and the progress made after 5 weeks.

There is no charge to attend the Counselling Support for Divorced Dads. We depend on donations from people, organizations and businesses to keep these sessions running free of cost.
