I just wanted to send a quick note to everyone to encourage you to see “Courageous”.  If I could have a theme movie for REAL DADS, it would be, without question, this one.  I will admit that my eyes did sweat a bit as I watched this.  I have now seen it three times and will also buy the video the day it comes out, so I can watch it again, and again.  There is even some gunplay for us guys! ;)

Also, I have decided to start running a blog, called “Will the Real Men Please Stand Up?”  On Father’s Day, I spoke a sermon with the same title at Alliston Pentecostal Church, and I feel very strongly that this is something that needs to be addressed.  The blog addresses various news stories in which men are involved, in both good and bad ways.  The point is to learn from the successes and failures of these featured men and to make us consider our own methods as men.  It is time for real men to stand and be seen and counted.  Here is the blog address:
